The longer length allows it to be anchored to your mid-section for better stability and more consistent setup and alignment. A heavier putter head optimizes swingweight for balance and feel. Plus, toe-down weighting in the putter head promotes a more easily repeatable arc putting path if the Belly Putter is anchored.
